Cheer up - it could be worse.  Humboldt County was lucky that our service
was restored quickly.  I work for Evergreen Pulp, but am on a long
assignment in Holland for a sister company owned by our parent company, Lee
and Man, in Hong Kong.  A decision was made (not by me) when the Rotterdam
office opened to have the Exchange server in Hong Kong.  When the Taiwan
earthquake hit, our offices in Hong Kong lost their service.  It is still
not restored.  You have seen the article that was circulated.  It could be a
few more days to several weeks. The company here revolves around email.  I
have managed to set up an alternate domain with email service.  But the
company also has some worldwide database servers, some in the US and some in
Hong Kong.  So we are having massive problems since either we can't access
the Asia servers, or the China users can't access the US servers.  This week
has been a nightmare, with no sign of an end.
