Mark Geiger at Suddenlink is on the road (plane) and asked me to send this out for him. Note item in bold is a short timeframe; thus this e-mail. Please do not reply to me. Call Suddenlink or contact Mark at mark.geiger at suddenlink.com.

This change also affects the 2007-2008 RTC Tech Directory. If you now have a cox.net e-mail address, it will change (see below). You will need to update your contact information on the RTC web site to be listed properly in new Tech Dir. Consider getting your own domain name so a change in ISP is seamless. Tina

Since acquiring the cable system in this area from Cox, Suddenlink has been allowed - through an agreement with Cox - to continue using Cox email accounts for its customers for a period of time. That agreement will expire, requiring customers to register new Suddenlink email accounts. The following outlines three important points regarding this upcoming change:

*	First - if you are a Cox Web Space user – meaning you store files or host a website at Cox, please back up your files to a hard drive prior to FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 17th. This will be the last day you can access your files at Cox or change your website. Starting Tuesday, November 21st, you can visit us at Suddenlink.net and register for a new URL to host your site and/or upload your files.
*	Second - if you view or pay your bill online, we are pleased to announce that you can now access your account online at Suddenlink.net starting Tuesday, November 21st.
*	Lastly, we’ve reserved up to 10 new Suddenlink e-mail addresses for you. To begin using your new e-mail, all you have to do is register at Suddenlink.net starting Tuesday, November 21st. Making the move to Suddenlink e-mail is easy.

Customers will receive detailed instructions about how to change their email addresses and will have 60 days to set up their new Suddenlink email accounts and Suddenlink will provide reminders during that time.

The change instructions will direct customers to a web page, where they will be walked through an easy, step by step process that will help them:

● Set up new email accounts

● Transfer old emails to their new accounts

● Transfer their Cox online address books to their new accounts

● Notify everyone in their address books about their new email.
