EUREKA, Calif., Nov. 16, 2006 - As part of its ongoing commitment to
delivering the benefits of broadband Internet service to as many customers
as possible, AT&T Inc. (NYSE: T) today announced expanded availability of
AT&T Yahoo!R High Speed Internet to residents and businesses in Eureka.

AT&T Yahoo! High Speed Internet delivers a unique high speed online
experience, including differentiated entertainment-related video content;
virtually unlimited e-mail storage; an award-winning parental controls
offering; industry-leading safety and security features built into an online
protection suite; multiple e-mail addresses; and a core offering of
customer-driven features, such as online marketing tools, to further
customize the online experience.
Offering speeds far faster than dial-up service, AT&T Yahoo! High Speed
Internet also provides 2 gigabytes of e-mail storage for the main user
account and for each of 10 subaccounts for family or employees, personalized
Internet browser with premium broadband content, customized instant
messaging, commercial-free Internet radio and much more.
In addition, the AT&T Yahoo! Online Protection suite of software features a
comprehensive safety and security package with valuable tools, including
spam filters and anti-virus protection, anti-spyware, pop-up ad-blocking and
one of the industry's most extensive parental-control offerings that are
recognized by The National Parenting Center with its Seal of Approval. AT&T
Yahoo! Online Protection provides subscribers a complete security solution

Compelling Prices and High Speeds
Residential customers can choose from four AT&T Yahoo! High Speed Internet
speed tiers, each with a flat everyday low rate that doesn't require a
12-month commitment. Customers can also enjoy the same great price whether
they are ordering DSL by phone, online (at www.att.com) or when shopping
with participating retailers.
AT&T Yahoo! High Speed Internet features the following speeds and rates for
residential customers:
* Basic (up to 768 Kbps downstream; up to 384 Kbps upstream) is
available for $14.99 a month (available for new customers only).
* Express (up to 1.5 Mbps downstream; up to 384 Kbps upstream) is
available for $19.99 a month.
* Pro (up to 3.0 Mbps downstream; up to 512 Kbps upstream) is
available for $24.99 a month.
* Elite (up to 6.0 Mbps downstream; up to 768 Kbps upstream) is
available for $34.99 a month.
Customers looking to save even more money can select a 12-month service plan
and will be rewarded with a month of free service. (Bill credit applies
after three months of paid service. Taxes are excluded.)
For consumers who choose to shop online at www.att.com, gift cards of $25
for orders of Express service and $75 for orders of Pro and Elite service
are available - further increasing savings.
The offer for AT&T Yahoo! High Speed Internet Express, Pro and Elite
includes a $49.99 mail-in rebate toward a $79.99 AT&T Wireless Gateway or a
$49.99 high speed Internet modem. AT&T Yahoo! High Speed Internet service is
available in the company's 13-state incumbent local
exchange areas, where high speed Internet service is available: Arkansas,
Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, Texas, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Wisconsin,
Ohio, California, Nevada and Connecticut.
Residential and small business high speed Internet customers can also enjoy
their service on the go with a subscription to AT&T's Wi-Fi service, which
provides a wireless broadband experience at more than 11,000 locations
nationwide, including airports, hotels, convention centers, coffee shops,
restaurants and business centers.
