RTC List Members,
This is a reminder that we will _NOT_ be having our October RTC meeting
tonight, even though the second Thursday of the month is our usual time.
Instead this month we will be merging our meeting with a videoconference
sponsored by HSU on Wednesday, October 25th.
The announcement for that is copied below.
Regards,
John

Dear RTC Members:
Please join us in the next event in the 2006-2007 HSU TAKING CARE OF
BUSINESS workshop/lecture series organized by the HSU Office for
Economic & Community Development.

SPEAKER: Video Conference with Joaquin Alvarado, the Director of San
Francisco State University's Institute for Next Generation Internet
DATE/TIME: Wednesday, October 25, 2006
5:30 - 7:30PM
[We appreciate Redwood Technology Consortium for changing its monthly
membership meeting date to October 25 to make it convenient for you to
participate in our videoconference with Mr. Alvarado.]
LOCATION: Humboldt County Office of Education, Board Conference Room in
The Annex - 901 Myrtle Avenue, Eureka.
We have invited Joaquin Alvarado to the North Coast and HSU on March 1st
next year.
This advance video conference with him this month will initiate
discussion with local business, education, and health care leaders about
how we can participate in the statewide efforts for next generation
internet [and hone our skills for future videoconferencing.] Joaquin is
an informative and entertaining speaker and is interested in forging a
relationship between HSU and North Coast businesses and the statewide
Next Generation Internet effort.
