The California League of Middle Schools (CLMS), the California League of High Schools (CLHS), the National High School Association (NHSA), and Computer-Using Educators (CUE) are sponsoring the Technology Conference November 16-19, 2006, in Monterey, California. Conference highlights include: more than 70 workshop and focus sessions; Mac and Windows labs with broadband wireless; an exhibit hall with products and services; and technology keynote speakers: David Warlick and Linda Fisher.   Vernier Software and Technology and the National Science 
        Teachers Association

  A partnership of Vernier Software and Technology and the National Science Teachers Association, this award recognizes the innovative use of data collection technology using a computer, graphing calculator, or handheld in the science classroom. Seven awards will be presented, in the following categories: one elementary (grades Kindergarten through five); two middle level (grades six through eight); three high school (grades nine through twelve) and one college.
