An SBC lineman quietly suggested to me a few months ago that I write
to the CPUC complaining about the lack of DSL in Blue Lake, because
they advertise it (ads on TV, ads for DSL in my phone bills, etc.) but
will not provide the service. He said that could ultimately help. I
haven't written a letter, in part because I'm not sure a single letter
would make a difference. But if all of us in affected areas wrote
letters to the CPUC, it might make a difference.
