[RTC List] Suddenlink problems

My IT soliloquy: I am working remotely (East Coast) on a large arts
publication for Humboldt County artists. We are past deadline-so anxiety is
already a little high. I am sending and receiving up to 2-3 MB graphic
files a few times every day and I'm in constant email communications with my
customers by email through Suddenlink. After frustrating error messages from
the server through much of the week - yesterday, Suddenlink blocked my three
email accounts where I couldn't check my email at all. My husband called to
ask questions and was told, the person before us had the same problem. They
said they would call us back when they knew what was going wrong. Anyway-no
call back, but my access was restored late last night. I have lost almost
two days on the work that needed my attention most. Luckily, my cell phone
was working fine - which kept me in motion. We put in our order to switch, I
am using FileZilla and I rerouted all my email through Morse Media and
Gmail. Now I can't remember why we left SBC. It was definitely more
reliable. I think a few trusted individuals said Cox was faster.
Is there any action to take besides creating work-arounds and changing
providers?
