[RTC List] Suddenlink internet support gets worse

Sunday morning April 15th Suddenlink internet service at least to the
Dow's Prairie area (I'm on Chaffin) dropped out some time before 0700.
As of 0930 it is still not back (I'm using dialup).
Trying to call their local number 268-5380 and pressing zero results in
an *open circuit but no ring, no answer, just nothing* for as long as I
am willing to stay on.
Calling 1-877-443-3127 and going through the process for _*tech
support*_ got me to the message "you will be answered by the next
available operator almost immediate -- then I got the message that they
were _*only open and available during normal business hours*_ and they
hung up on me.
Subsequent attempts to call the 268 number get the eternal hang.
Subsequent attempts to call the 877 number get *nothing but a busy signal*.
So not only are they down, we cannot even contact their highly-regarded
customer service to report the problem or ask about it, even though they
never seem to know anything.
I've been in the IT world for over 40 years. This is undoubtedly the
worst customer service I have ever encountered. The network reliability
is not very good either, but the inability to support their customers is
what makes it really awful.
How widespread is or was the outage Sunday this Sunday?
