[RTC List] Condolences

I was sickened when I read the article about the dog attack.
I was not bothered in the slightest by the request for "some support from
the community, even just a card, may help ease the pain just a bit."
I was greatly bothered by the 2 responses that I have seen so far,
"condemning" the request.
All of you, as I do, have a "Delete" button, and I use it frequently, and
Quietly.
My 75 year-old neighbor had her small dog attacked, in her yard, in her
presence, by a pack of roaming, unleashed dogs, resulting in a $1000 vet
bill, and much mental anguish.
I think it is most appropriate to call for action by the city to Strongly
enforce the leash-law.
If you disagree with my post, please delete it and I will not be offended in
the slightest.
Regards
James Topping

the "family" member was not human, but a pet (sure, pets are important, but
they are not immediate family). And I did not appreciate the arrogance of
telling us "tough" if we felt the post was off-topic.

that in this day and age there are a lot more worthy causes than financially
helping a professional who presumably has the kind of income that goes along
with his position.

consulting a lawyer and "seeks redress," so by sending money to Humble, we
are likely helping him to file a lawsuit against our community (that's
"us").
