I am forwarding this message from Susan Anderson, a good friend of Don
Wolski and Maggie Gainer:

Friends of Don and Maggie,

Well, it's been a year now since our excellent party for Don Wolski.
Since he's still with us today, he beat the odds given to him at the
beginning of his ordeal.  With that said, however, as most of you
know, his health is failing quickly now.  If you haven't been

It's been hard for all of us to see him lose energy and the use of
parts of his body, but he's suffered through it with dignity,
determination and love.  I think it's a real testament to this
wonderful community of friends how well people have come together to
help Don and Maggie and Carrie through this difficult process.
Between the visits, gifts, food and care, many of you have all given
of yourselves to help in this time of need for the Wolski family and
I know that Maggie really appreciates it.

With that said, there is one more thing we can all do.  I've been
talking with Maggie and there are expenses which are difficult for
her right now.  Maggie needs help with funds for care-givers (for
respite care and nightly help with Don), supplies and services
necessary to help Don in his final days. Yes, we raised a lot of
money last year, but it's all gone for treatments, travel and care
for Don.  We don't want to do another fundraiser at this time, but I
am asking if you could do what you can - in a personal fashion - to
help our friends one more time.  Maggie can't ask this of you but I
can.  We need to help our friends out one more time.

As you recall, we set up an account at Coast Central Credit Union to
help with Don's expenses.  You can make a personal donation to this
account and encourage your friends and other community members to do
the same.  The best way to be sure that checks are credited to the
