Friends,

As those of you attending the last RTC general meeting learned, I 
have recently begun working as the Internet Sales Manager and 
Webmaster for Harper Motors of Eureka (http://www.harpermotors.com). 
I am pleased to announce that we will soon be launching an entirely 
new web presence to update what has been a relatively stagnant web 
site for some time now.  I hope this demonstrates the commitment of 
this 95 year old business to embrace the Internet age.

While I will maintain my long-standing personal e-mail address 
(above) I will now be also using larry at harpermotors.com for 
business-related e-mail.  I will be happy to provide anyone 
information to assist with the purchase of a new or used vehicle, but 
will not bother you at this time with any promotional materials.  I 
request that if you are interested in the products we represent, 
please send me an e-mail and I will be happy to send you more 
information.

Of particular interest to me, and my "specialty" of a sort, are 
hybrid and high-efficiency vehicles and alternate fuel engines 
(alcohol, diesel and, eventually, hydrogen fuels) designed to reduce 
carbon and other environmental emissions.  I am pleased to say that 
the manufacturers I represent are working diligently to address 
global climate issues and I will be happy to share this information 
when you request it.
