RTC is accepting applications for our 2007 scholarship. Rather than
attaching the PDF, the flyer is on the web site at www.redwoodtech.org

graduating HS seniors who are bound for an accredited institution of

To summarize:

 

February 26, 2007, Eureka CA-The Redwood Technology Consortium invites
all

graduating high school seniors to apply for our 2007 Scholarship award
of $1,500.

The following information can also be found on the RTC website,
www.redwoodtech.org <http://www.redwoodtech.org/> .

 

To apply for the scholarship, applicants must submit a 500-800 word
essay.

 

Theme: How do you approach the challenges of rapidly changing
technology?

To answer this question, applicants should consider the following:

 

Technology has changed the way we work and live.  This requires all of
us to challenge ourselves to adapt and learn to use new technologies.

*	What challenges have you faced in learning and using new
technologies?
*	What have you done to educate yourself to meet this challenge?  
*	What key skills do you possess that will allow you to succeed in
the next phase of your education?
*	How will you educate yourself in college and beyond?

 

Requirements:

1. Students must be a 2007 graduating North Coast senior who will attend
an accredited institution of higher education in 2007-2008 school year.

2. Along with your essay, please include 2 adult references and a brief
letter from each attesting to your character.

3. Send your essay and letters as a Microsoft Word documents or Adobe
Acrobat PDFs to: board at redwoodtech.org.

 

Deadline: 5:00pm Monday, April 2, 2006

 

Judging Criteria:

Essays will be judged according to creativity, writing skills, and
clarity. Winner will be announced at the end of April. The essay will
become the property of RTC and may be published in local media.

serves as the North Coast's information and educational resource, on
issues related to

our emerging technology industry. Incorporated in the year 2000, the
group currently has
