[RTC List] Unified Messaging

Hello,
 
I work for the Arcata Police Department and have been asked to research
"Unified Messaging" and how it would work for us.  When I googled
Unified Messaging I got all kinds of information, and learned a lot
about it, but really don't know where to find out andswers for the 6
things specific for our department that I was asked to find out.  I sure
am hoping you can help me out!  Or at least put me in touch with someone
who may be able to help this poor, non-techy!!
 
Things I need answers for:
 
1.  Is it all inclusive?
2.  How much does it cost.
3.  Ratings
4.  Compatibility
5.  System Requirements
6.  How many voice boxes 
 
We have:  Exchange Server 2003
                ISA 2004
 
I was specifically asked about Microsoft Unified Messaging but looks
like there are other companies who provide this besides Microsoft.
