The Redwood Region Economic Development Commission is seeking applicants
for the position of Executive Director
 
About The Position
The Executive Director has the overall responsibility for the
development and management of RREDC programs and projects and reports
directly to the RREDC Board of Directors.

Duties include planning, coordinating, and implementing regional
economic development projects, overseeing the operation of a small
business revolving loan program, administering grants and contracts, and
overseeing a staff of four full- and part-time professional and
administrative staff persons.

Compensation includes a competitive salary, health, dental and vision
coverage, and a 5% retirement match for deferred compensation.

The successful applicant will possess a combination of education and
experience relevant necessary to oversee the operation of a small
business loan fund, provide programmatic and policy leadership, manage
human and organizational resources effectively, and communicate well
with the board of directors, member agencies, and the public at large.

Specifically, candidates should possess five years of increasingly
responsible experience in an economic development organization,
commercial bank, or a local government economic or community development
department. Some experience in small business lending or managing a
revolving business loan fund is desirable.

A Bachelor's degree in urban or regional planning, public or business
administration, economics, or community development is also desired..
