Hello All,

First let me say....

> Mr. Arkley has nothing to
> personally gain in any of this. His company can afford to bring in their
> own wireless system if they want to. It seems to me to be in poor taste to
> mock him when he is going out of his way to help support the rest of us.

DITTO!! And well said. Just because YOU do not have the brains to be
as successful as Mr. Arkley is does not mean YOU have the right to
judge him for your lack thereof - lol. Leave him alone and maybe care
a bit more about yourself and maybe... just maybe... one day you will
be half has successful as he is.

Rant done...

Ok, I must say I had to laugh a little bit when the internet first
came back online... you see, the first thing I did was jump into the
RTC mailing list to read who of you would be complaining... it is
always a fun way to start off having the internet back on ;)

I think 99% of us can agree that a redundant system into Humboldt
County is something we need. The other 1% are probably people who we
wouldn't care to hear from in the first place.

So, really folks... can we stop the ranting about this! We have had
what... 15 different threads about this issue. All of you out there
are always complaining about people turning threads into even more
threads and going on and on about 'whatever'... even when some of it
is actually productive threads... so, please... let's all try to get
focused about this idea and keep the threads from turning into even
more threads all about the same thing!

(ok, I said all of that in hopes to have some fun... I am NOT
intending any of this to be taken serious folks... or in a mean
spirit... or anything like that... after all, we have to expect living
here in humboldt county with only a single fiber... well, that is just
part of living here... that is... until we get some redundancy...
until then, let's all just enjoy having the internet back on :-D )

Have a great weekend all.

John B. Abela
