Hi Larry and Other Heroes -
I hope you have contacted all the media outlets to inform them of this
great thing you have done.
I think it is fabulous and a testimony to all of your good hearts and
mighty talents.
Keri

	RTC folks,

I have great news! In just over 24 hours, RTC volunteers Josh
Koenig (of
Chapter Three), Matt Koglin (of Antinomia) and Michael Welch
(Redwood
Alliance) stepped up to the plate and helped put together a
great new
	website: http://www.homematching.org which is a person-to-person
matching
service designed to match victims of the S. Cal. fires with
volunteers
from around the state willing to offer temporary housing.

In a rapid series of phone networking, Rotary International is
considering
sponsorship of the site (their endorsement requires some
approvals and is
pending), but the Red Cross, The Governor's Office of Emergency
Services
and FEMA are all looking to link to this site. The great thing
is that
now it's built (and will eventually be improved) we're going to
eventually
find a home for it where it can be re-launched anytime for any
disaster
anywhere (to avoid re-inventing the wheel, yet again, next
time).

We are working a press release at this time and, once issued,
will be
disseminated to state and national media for distribution.

If any of you have rooms or homes to offer, please log on and
log into the
system. All feedback is welcome and we encourage everyone to
help out
wherever possible - just e-mail us and we'll plug you in to
help. Many
thanks to Josh, Matt, Michael and the Rotarians of SW Rotary for
their
assistance. The RTC comes through again!
