[RTC List] ***Warning*** Microsoft XP Update - Zone Alarm Conflict

I was wondering if anyone else had encountered this problem??  Also, this
may help someone else with their problem.

Yesterday a Microsoft XP security patch was alerted to me and installed on
my stand alone computer.  After that, neither Firefox nor IE was able to
connect to any web pages through Suddenlink.  I tried various things (such
as unplugging my modem and MS system recover which itself failed to
complete) and was only able to overcome this problem after I uninstalled
Zone Alarm's free firewall as suggested by Renaissance Computer.  Now things
seem to be fine sans ZA's Firewall.
