Hi folks
We're working on a social networking site that's focused on security issues
- it's not a tech support site, more a place where people can go and get
recommendations, learn how to protect themselves, chat online with experts,
post/participate in blogs/vlogs/podcasts, etc, etc. It's intended primarily
for non technical users. The site is vendor-neutral but development is being
underwritten by AVG; our advisory board includes people like Neil Rubenking,
senior security editor at PC Magazine, and ueber security researcher Roger
Thompson.
We are looking for programming resources to help us turn Photoshop designs
into coded reality. You'd need to be able to work remotely - while I live
here, I'm not directly managing the project. I'm told the skills we need
include:
Drupal CMS platform, particularly 'group' functions;
Ajax, Javascript and Jscript - experience w/ deploying in social networking
sites;
DOM (pref. level 3);
CSS;
possibly FXML (faceted XML);
XMLHttpRequests;
Pref. VTD-XML (memory efficiency for highly interactive sites)
If you're interested or have questions, please contact our project manager,
Gayle Cline, at gecline at gmail.com
Thanks!
