I posted a compliant on getsatisfaction.com
(http://getsatisfaction.com/suddenlink/topics/bad_internet_connection?utm_content=reply_link&utm_medium=email&utm_source=reply_notification#reply_641714)
and got a response back from a suddenlink

"My name is Pete Abel and I'm with Suddenlink. We are working to
address these issues and took steps recently that helped many
customers until the additional capacity we've ordered from our vendor
can be delivered. In the meantime, I'd be happy to escalate your
issues to senior management in your area to see if those issues can be
alleviated. Let me know. Since I don't visit this forum regularly,
please email me at pete-DOT-abel-AT-suddenlink-DOT-com. Thanks."
