I only have a single (laptop) computer running MS Windows on it (need it
for QuickBooks), but I use a free backup service offered through my DSL
ISP Sonic.Net. The software it uses only supports MS Windows at this time.
It's extremely simple to use, and they provide something like 500MB of
storage to their subscribers for free. They have paid plans for higher
capacities though. All backups are encrypted and can be automatically
scheduled for whenever you want them to take place. It runs as a
background process most of the time.
I don't have many other details myself. You might try their website at
http://www.sonic.net and contact a sales rep for more information. They
are an excellent ISP, based in Santa Rosa. I have used them for many, many
years. They have both "cheap" residential DSL and more expensive business
DSL services available. Great customer support and many more advanced
features than you will ever get from either AT&T DSL or Suddenlink. Hope
this helps.
