All,
Do you know a person or business who's done good things in the past year for technology on the North Coast? If they're an RTC member, you can nominate them for our annual Tech Leader Award. If you want to be considered and aren't an RTC member, it's never too late to become one. Here are some details:
This program grants a $1000 cash prize to a person or group who demonstrates leadership qualities in the technology industry, in areas including (but not limited to):
-- advocacy and outreach related to technology
-- innovative use of technology
-- technology training
-- marketing of technology
Anyone may nominate a person or an organization, including themselves, but the nominee must be a current RTC member (for a complete list, see http://www.redwoodtech.org/member-roster). Nominations should be no longer than 600 words, and submitted online at http://redwoodtech.org or emailed as a Word document or PDF file to board at redwoodtech.org, no later than November 13, 2009. The website also includes information for how to become an RTC member.
The RTC board will select up to five finalists, and RTC members can vote for a winner via the RTC website. The winner will be announced at the RTC's annual holiday event in December.
