The Redwood Technology Consortium is examining the many uses of online video, during its quarterly luncheon, Thursday, March 11, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at College of the Redwoods’ Lakeview Room. The luncheon, titled “Online Video — For Business, Non-profits, Educators and Individuals,” will feature presentations by award-winning San Francisco filmmaker Kevin Epps, and HumbyTV founder and Internet TV producer, Tom Rowles. The afternoon will conclude with a brief presentation about how online video can promote your business, followed by a showing of Eel River Organic Beef’s video, made locally and shown at the meat counter of Whole Foods grocery stores.  For the price of admission into the RTC luncheon — $15 in advance for RTC members, $20 at the door and for non-RTC members and $10 for students — there will be vegetarian and non-vegetarian meals available.
